Macbeth - A Tragedy for our times?
Blue Door Theatre Company delves into the corrupting effects of war and power-hungry despots presenting Shakespeare’s Macbeth to audiences in High Barnet.
Set in the original 11th century as Shakespeare intended, but holding a mirror up to ourselves today.
Blue Door has established itself as one of the Bull Theatre’s most exciting and original community theatre groups, utilising the many local talents of actors, musicians and visual artists. This production has a unique soundscape composed by Nick Godwin, set and props by Cos Gerolemou. Siobhan Dunne directs the production interlacing projection, music and sounds to immerse the audience into the dark world of the Weird Sisters and the Macbeths.
If you are studying the text, you will find it particularly exciting and rewarding as the key features of the story are perfectly underlined.
Please note all bookings are made online. The box office is open 45 mins before the show. The Bull Theatre is open for shows and classes in the evenings and weekends. If you want to contact us please email thebulltheatre68@gmail.com
